Gadget tying is an important skill that every guide must learn in their guiding journey. This skill is used to tie gadgets such as shoerack, clothesline and luggage rack etc. during camps to replace the facilities we have in our homes.

Gadget tying consists of many knots, with the basic knots being squarelash and tripod lash. Knots have to be tight or else the structure/gadget would not be stable and function properly. To tie these lashes, you will need a piece of twine that is two arms length and a scissors.
