Earning Badges
AHSGG provides guides with refreshing and new experiences when earning badges that can be sewn on to their uniforms. Guides are enrolled in different workshops such as the Singapore Kindness Workshop, First Aid course and the Free Being Me Workshop to enrich their learning while earning their badges

Singapore Kindness Badge
Singapore Kindness Badge
The Singapore Kindness Badge is a mark of distinction awarded to students of Uniformed Groups that have completed projects or tasks that promotes kindness and graciousness among their peers, family or community. This badge encourages our guides to foster stronger sense of community awareness and spread kindness in society through projects or campaigns.
Our guides attended "The Good Vibes Workshop" which equips them with the various design thinking tools needed for their projects. This workshop gives guides the opportunity to learn about current affairs related to kindness in the community such as neighbourliness, local-foreigner integration, online etiquette and body shaming. The guides were tasked to brainstorm and create an instagram account that can spread awareness on the issue they chose to spread awareness about. Through this interactive workshop, guides had a lot of fun being creative, coming up with interesting and catchy captions and account names.
First Aid Course
First Aid Course
The First Aid Badge and Emergency Helper Badge are essential badges. AHSGG recognises the importance of first aid, hence we aim to ensure every batch of AHS guides is first aid trained. This ensures that when it is time for our guides to step up and run CCA activities, if any accidents occur, our guides will be able to attend to the injuries quickly.
Through this course, our guides learnt about basic first aid as well as how to use the AED. These skills are extremely essential in daily lives and can be used to help others. We hope that our guides will be able to render help if they come across people in need of first aid treatment.
